When it comes to
drugstore foundations, without a doubt there is plenty to choose from. However the
extensive array of brands, coverage and finishes can be a tad overwhelming. Therefore
I am going to dedicate the next three posts to my top drugstore picks, starting
with the perfect options for a full coverage. I hope that this will make
it that little bit easier to find your perfect match.

1. Revlon Colorstay For Combination/Oily Skin: shade 150 'Buff' - £12.49
The foundation also has an excellent staying power and the added bonus of SPF 15. There are a total of 13 shades and I find that 'Buff' blends seamlessly into my natural skin tone. Although slightly pricy at £12.49, I definitely feel that this is one of the best full coverage foundations that the drugstore has to offer.
2. Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation: shade 100 'Ivory' - £7.99
This is a reasonably new,
yet without a doubt permanent addition to my collection. For a medium coverage
foundation, the formulation is surprisingly lightweight and blends flawlessly
into the skin to create a natural coverage. The foundation claims to last 25
hours, although I doubt this and also worry whoever is wearing their makeup for
that long. However the staying power really is amazing and I find that it barely budges
throughout a hectic day.
Furthermore, it is enhanced with a moisturising serum gel and also
contains Vitamin E. This is apparent in the fact that it is surprisingly
comfortable to wear for a heavier coverage. The shade 'Ivory' blends
fluidly into my skin tone to provide a natural finish and also contains SPF 20. Overall this is a real winner and an absolute bargain at £7.99.
I hope this helped those of you looking for an affordable, full coverage foundation. I would love to hear what you think in the comments below. What are your favourite foundations that you have been currently loving? Also be sure to check out tomorrow's post for my top choices for a medium coverage finish!
