My Winter Saviours : Hair

This is part two of my winter saviours series, posts dedicated to providing my top tips for battling those winter blue. It's not only my skin but also my hair that seems to be in a constant battle with the elements this time of year.

I have completely fallen in love with the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil shampoo and conditioner. They are amazingly nourishing for dry hair yet they do not  weigh my hair down making it flat and lifeless, a common problem I have found with other conditioners targeted for dry hair. Instead this brand actually adds volume and shine to my hair keeping it soft, smooth and frizz-free. To top things off it also smells divine, with a gorgeous sent that lasts on the days in between washes and I have received so many complements since using it.

I'm a firm believer that the key to good hair care is a good oil. I religiously apply the dr.organic Organic Moroccan Argan Oil to the ends of my hair after washing it. I then either allow my hair to dry naturally or just lightly run the hairdryer over it on a low setting using a large round brush. I have found that this oil has really improved the condition of my hair and I no longer have dry, split ends. It also works wonders at keeping your hair smooth and that dreaded frizz at bay.

Finally, this time of year I find that a nourishing hair mask is more important than ever. Two that I have been particularly loving are the L'Oreal Elvive Full Restore 5 and the OGX Hydrating Macadamia Oil moisture mask. Both leave my hair incredibly soft, smelling divine and thouroughly nourished. They are an absolute essential for anyone else battling dry, frizzy hair this winter!

I hope these few little hair care tips help you out this January and I'd love to know what products you guys are currently loving.

Devon
